Congratulations to partner Pamela Brown-Jones for having been selected as a speaker at NJ State Bar Association’s 2021 Webinar: Excelling at Litigating New Jersey Wrongful Death & Survivorship Actions!

This crucial part of plaintiff’s medical malpractice law involves the specific causes of action available to someone who lost their spouse, relative, or loved one as a result of medical negligence. While wrongful death claims are brought seeking compensation for the ‘wrongful’ death of an individual, survivorship claims are brought seeking compensation for any claim(s) that would have been available if an individual had not died. These claims are often complex depending on the losses claimed by those impacted and whether an individual died with or without a living will. Pamela Brown-Jones was featured as a speaker on a panel of well-respected New Jersey medical malpractice and/or personal injury practitioners alongside a former civil trial judge and an economic expert.

We are honored to have Ms. Brown-Jones as a part of our firm’s team. To read more about her background and professional accomplishments, visit her bio page here. To read more about the NJSBA’s webcast, visit the presentation page here.
